Recently SC Neftekhimproekt (Russia) has celebrated its 70th birthday. During its existence, the design team has completed design and survey work of varying complexity under several thousand contracts with customers.
The institute performed work on drawing up a "Scheme for the development and placement of reception and storage bases for chemicals for the period up to 2005", where the feasibility of building and locating facilities for the supply of chemical products, as well as experimental-industrial plants for their production, on the territory of the country was sustained (previously, chemicals were imported).
Most of the bases for chemical reagents included in the Scheme were designed by SC Neftekhimproekt (Russia). Among them are oil and gas production facilities of Western Siberia, Azneft, Aktyubinskneft, Bashneft, Komineft, Kirgizneft, Tadzhikneft, Tengizneft, Turkmenneft and Ukrneft, etc.
The Institute has completed projects for more than 100 facilities for the integrated development of oil fields, including those for Tatarstan – 49, Udmurt Republic – 21, as well as for the republics of Komi, Sakha (Yakutiya), Azerbaijan, and the regions of Western Siberia, Ulyanovsk, Irkutsk and Novosibirsk.
Oil refining units were designed for the equipment of such companies as: Ventek (USA) – for Urayneftegaz; Petrofac (USA) – for PJSC Tatnef (Russia), Tomskneft (Russia) and Antipinskiy Oil Refinery (Tyumen region); OilTools (Singapore) – for Edinaya Evropa in Mari-El (later, by the order of LLC Mariysky Oil Refinery (Russia), a project for the plant expansion with the use of technology and equipment from Koch-Glitsch was completed). Projects for expansion of bulk-cargo facilities in the commercial seaport of Ust-Lug and the coastal part of the Russian offshore oil loading facility known as Vistino, CJSC GT Morstroy (Russia, St. Petersburg), and others were completed as well.
The design of the facilities for the preparation of water and loading it into the layer at the North Rumaila oil field (Iraq) was also prepared by SC Neftekhimproekt (Russia).
The most significant units designed by Neftekhimproekt (Russia) are as follows:
Super-viscous oil preparing unit (SVOPU) – Kamenka – with treatment facilities – 2014-2015
At the Kamenka SVOPU, the preparation of extra-viscous oil is provided considering the requirements of the 1st quality group in accordance with GOST R 31378-2009. The preparation of the produced water (PW) is provided considering the requirements of the system for maintaining reservoir pressure (MRP). The production capacity of the unit is 600 thousand tons per year of commercial oil. The production capacity of the produced water treatment unit is 10500 cubic meters per day.
Technological unit for oil refining with a capacity of 500 thousand tons per year. Off-plant facilities.
Technological unit for oil refining with a capacity of 750 thousand tons per year, expansion of loading overpasses for light and dark oil products. Expansion of the tank park for receiving and storing oil, off-plant facilities.
Participation in the development of a basic project for the further development of OOO Mariyskiy Oil Refinery (Russia) with an increase in the total production of oil refining up to 4.2 million tons per year.
Expansion and increase in productivity of the refinery:
Storage parks for raw materials (oil) and finished products.
Railroad overpasses for loading and unloading of oil products.
Complex for receiving oil from the railway cisterns.
Gas dehydration system with a capacity of 780 thousand tons per year.
Systems for loading products into the road tanks.
Off-plant flare system.
Off-plant facilities.
Technical re-equipment of the ELOU-AT2 unit to increase productivity from 2.5 to 3.3 million tons per year.
